Description

4 Gallon Pail XL Brands ITS99Plus Adhesive is a pure acrylic, multi-use pressure sensitive adhesive with extreme tack and high bond strength used for installing Interface® vinyl tiles & plank, pvc and non-pvc backed carpet tiles over porous and non-porous substrates. ITS99Plus offers extended open time, fast dry time and ease of application. This unique adhesive has outstanding water resistance and tenacious bond strength for demanding installations such as hospitals, schools, nursing homes, hospitality, and food preparation centers. The low odor is ideal for occupied buildings. CRITICAL!!! READ ALL DOCUMENTS BEFORE YOU USE THIS PRODUCT. USAGE: Important: Proper substrate preparation is essential. Moisture testing must be performed and documented before installation begins. Read Technical Bulletin titled Substrate Preparation before beginning installation. The installation site must be acclimated with HVAC in operation. The flooring, materials, adhesives and ambient conditions, must be maintained at 65°–85°F, and the humidity between 45-65% for 48 hours prior to, during, and continuously after the installation is completed. Asphalt-based or cutback adhesive must be removed completely or XL Brands® TriSeal® may be used to encapsulate cutback residual stains. Follow the TriSeal® TDS for appropriate application for cutback residue. Always roll the installation in both directions with a 75 lbs. 3-section roller immediately after flooring is placed, ensuring complete contact with adhesive. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the many additives being used in or on concrete slabs, it is critical that a bond test be performed. Some treatments will repel any sealer or adhesive. If usage instructions are not completely followed, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. CONCRETE SUBSTRATE CONDITIONS: Approved for bond only on on-grade or above grade bare concrete substrates in the absence of hydrostatic moisture/pressure within the moisture and pH limits. • Up to 95% in-situ RH (per ASTM F2170) and a pH of 11.0 for Interface® GB PVC backed carpet tiles* • Up to 99% in-situ RH (per ASTM F2170) and a pH of 12.0 for LVT, LVP, and non-PVC backed carpet tiles* * ITS99Plus is a high-moisture tolerant adhesive, however it is not a MOISTURE BARRIER; a working/functional in-tact moisture barrier must be in place to use this adhesive. Please follow Interfaces’ guidelines in regards to moisture and pH restrictions. These limitations will supersede the adhesive moisture and pH limitations. RECOMMENDED TROWELS AND COVERAGES: Interface® vinyl tile and planks 1/16” x 1/32”x 1/32” U-Notch (width, depth, spacing) Coverage will be up to 220-260 sq. feet per gallon. Interface® carpet tiles: 3/8” short nap paint roller for carpet tiles Coverage will be up to 350-400 sq. feet per gallon NOTE: Trowel may be required for porous surfaces when installing Interface carpet tiles ADHESIVE WORKING TIME: Up to 6 hours after drying USE OVER: On or above grade bare concrete in absence of hydrostatic moisture/pressure with a working in-tact vapor barrier. INSTALLATIONS: Porous and Non-Porous substrates • Vinyl and non-vinyl sheet flooring may be placed into adhesive after 10–20 minutes open time (flash-off) over a porous substrate. Non-porous substrates must be installed into, dry to the touch. • When installing vinyl and non-vinyl plank and tile over a porous and non- porous substrate, the adhesive should be allowed to dry to the touch to prevent slippage. Loss of adhesion can result if the flooring is not installed
